2010 Homecoming Parade

Jessica Mazzone
Saturday morning, October 2, 2010, the annual homecoming parade took place at 10am on Park St.

Though the parade was short and fast there were many of the clubs and other people within the community that participated. The parade was lead by the Montana Tech pep-band in the Butte trolley. Following that were many of the clubs that made floats such as: SME, BSU, Liberal Studies, Dance Club and many others.
Along with the clubs from Tech there were many other participants. They ranged from old cars to brand new cars and everything in between. Not being very into cars myself I wouldn’t be able to give you the makes and models but I can tell you that they were a site to see. There was a construction truck supporting the diggers and two little tractors from Lisacs Tire. The parade may not be the most celebrated event of homecoming compared to the bed races and the game, but it is defiantly something to see.
