Not Saying Goodbye

Tony Campeau first came to Montana Tech in December of 1994 working as a part time recruiter at the COT. Upon his arrival to Butte he began renovating a house and by the time he had finished, he had a job working at Tech. He could have left Butte and Montana Tech several times, but there was something that always drew him back.

On Monday October 31, 2011 Tony will be leaving Montana Tech for the associate registrar position at Montana State University. Tony has mixed feelings about leaving Tech, on one hand he is excited for his new adventures and to be closer to his family, but he is sad to leave his current position and all the friends he has made through his time here.

“I have created the perfect job here from the job description to the standing desk in my office” said Tony. His favorite part of working at Montana Tech all these years was being able to help the students one-on-one. He did more of that when he first started, and more recently has been working with student policies. The thing he will miss the most is the relationships he has made with the faculty, staff and students, some of them becoming his best friends.

Tony has left some pretty big shoes to fill and even though we will miss Tony greatly we wish him all the best with his future endeavors! We are not saying goodbye, we are just saying “We’ll see ya later!”

Thanks for everything Tony!
