It's not everyday that comedians get to address politicians directly, so this is a treat. Colbert has a history of telling it like it is, like in 2006 when he roasted George Bush at the White House Correspondents Dinner. It is kind of odd how he ended up at a hearing of the Subcommittee on Immigration, Citizenship and Border Security. Maybe Washington is trying to get a feel for Mr. Colbert, who will be holding a march/rally in front of the Lincoln Memorial on October 30th called "The March To Keep Fear Alive". Which is of course being held at the same time as "The Rally To Restore Sanity", hosted by his arch nemesis, Jon Stewart.
