Time to fight back

Over spring break a new game came out on multiple platforms, a tactical first person shooter with a new set of drones and weapons used to obliterate your enemies. There are more drones and vehicles in the game instead of weapons so most of fighting will be done with vehicles and drones you unlock.
In the story or campaign if you prefer, a series of events that starts with North Korea and South Korea unifying. Then leads to Korea taking multiple military actions over a few years with an ending result of overthrowing America. The timeline the player will be playing in is known as the occupation wars. Instead of playing as a member of the fine military this time you’ll be playing simply as an oppressed citizen. There are some scenes that surround you that will definitely stir some emotions that will surely upset you.

The core game play is quite fun and has the feel just like Battlefield or COD but most of the fun is within the unlocks you can buy with battle points you earn in matches. You can buy all sorts of drone like little anti air drones, or a remote control bot with a light machine gun. You can even buy vehicles from APC’s all the way to assault helicopters.
The graphics are nothing impressive but I believe that the creators sacrificed graphics for better gameplay. There are only a handful of weapons such as assault rifles, light machine guns, sniper, and of course shotguns and sub machine guns. The weapons can be equipped with a few attachments but not a lot, like mentioned before the focus is on using vehicles and the drones.
There are a few game modes where you capture points on a map or team deathmatches. There is a mode where the more kills you get the more highlighted you become on the enemy’s radar. In the first week of the game launch the dedicated servers were overwhelmed and the company had to increase capacity, so one of the perks of this game is that support is constantly working to make the game better. For example in the update status bar it explains that they are currently working on creating a party system to play with your friends.
All in all the game is pretty fun and the vehicles and drones are refreshing change in pace from kill streaks.
