The Helgast are back

Yep the ISA’s friends from the past just never seem to go away in this PS3 exclusive title Killzone 3. Killzone 3 is a very popular game for Sony gaming devices, but it excels when its played on the PS3 with a 3D TV.
There is a lot to say about this game and it is all positive so lets start with the basic gameplay.
Killzone 3 plays kind of like a fantasy call of duty with a lot more to keep you entertained. You have your primary weapons, which are nothing out of the ordinary. Your secondary weapons are pretty crazy though from basic pistols to rocket launchers, tripistol shotguns to pistol grenade launchers and a few more. The weapons are my only complaint in the game however because there is only a handful a weapons for each class to use. If it weren’t for the abilities this game wouldn’t be anything ordinary but when a play drops an auto turret that fires rockets or calls in a sentry droid to help mop up the opposition then you have the makings for a great game.
There are so many abilities and each can have a heavy affect and turn the tide of the battle completely. If players are communicating and each fulfilling a different role they can be virtually unstoppable. Each player has the capacity for 2 abilities but starts out online with none. In order to use your abilities you must unlock them with points you earn every time you level up, so it would be very wise to take a look at all the options before you start upgrading because there is no changing.
If the weapons and abilities weren’t enough to catch your attention in this fantasy first person shooter then the graphics and the game modes will. The game looks great and the playlists are few but accommodate many game modes by having the modes inside the playlist. Like warzone for example is a playlist where the first team to complete 5 missions wins. The missions could be anything from capture the flag to defend this point on the map. At certain moments in the operations playlist whenever a point is destroyed or captured a clip highlights the task and shows who is doing what. Oh and also there is some giant mech suits laying around on certain maps!
